This year's guest speaker is Harvey Webster, Director of Wildlife Resources at Cleveland Museum of Natural History. Harvey will be presenting "Romancing the Eagle: The Recovery of the Bald Eagle in Ohio. "The Bald Eagle enjoyed a large breeding range that encompassed most of North America in the 1600s. Yet, by the 1970s its habitat and population were dangerously deteriorated. Webster chronicles the history of the Bald Eagle in Ohio and celebrates the successful initiatives that have brought about this noble raptor's renaissance."
